Fill out an adoption application, then we schedule a meet-and-greet to make sure the dog is a good match.Can I meet the dog first?

Yes. Our Search & Rescue service is 100% free with no charges. We started offering this service after seeing how stressful and emotional it is when a dog goes missing. In many cases, families are asked to pay $1,000 or more for search help, and we believe no owner should have to worry about money during a crisis. Yes. We may accept owner surrenders depending on space, resources, and the dog’s behavior and medical needs.Is there a surrender fee?
Yes. The surrender fee is $150 to help cover veterinary care, food, and training while the dog is in our rescue.Why do you charge a surrender fee?

At Xylose Dog Rescue & Training, we focus on medium to large working and active breeds (30 lbs and up) that benefit from structure, training, and experienced handling.
